CLEVELAND, Ohio – The golden days of summer are upon us, finally. How long will they last, who knows. So we savor them — with friends, with drinks, on a patio. It’s patio time in the best season of the year.
Ah, wasting the day away in summertime. We sit there doing nothing, hoping that somehow we can slow the time down to a crawl so that summer never leaves. We do it with friends, with drinks, outside on a patio. OK, time to stop talking about it and go do it.
A new music venue and watering hole came on line in Lakewood a couple of weeks ago. Called Vosh, it’s part of the former Bonne Bell complex of buildings, and is the third neighborhood venture for Mickey Krivosh and his family.
For 38 years, Mickey Krivosh has been Mr. Around the Corner. Friday, he’s heading across the street to fulfill a lifelong dream. That’s when the big, thick doors swing open to Vosh, expanding Krivosh’s empire. The 5,000-square-foot club – 1414 Riverside Drive, Lakewood, 216-221-3500 – will host live jazz, blues and Motown bands.
